WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE CLASS

Before you step into the studio and onto the pole (or floor), here’s everything you need to know to have your best class experience with us at Some Like It Haute Studio.

WHAT TO BRING:

  • A water bottle – Hydration is hot.

  • Knee pads – Optional, but highly recommended for floorwork or any class where you plan to get low.

  • Heels or boots – Only if your class calls for it! See “What to Wear” below.

  • Minimal belongings – We like to keep our space clear, clean, and calm.

  • Your best attitude – Bring the energy, leave the excuses.

WHAT TO WEAR:

Wear the right gear for the right class — trust us, it matters.

Pole Class:

  • No pants (unless they’re specifically made for pole and have grip tech).

  • Remove ALL jewelry before class.

  • Shorts + sports bra, tank, or fitted tee. The more skin you’re comfy showing, the better — your skin is what helps you grip the pole.

  • Barefoot or heels (optional, but fabulous if you’re feeling it).

  • Optional knee pads if floorwork is involved.

    IMPORTANT: Pole Grip Policy

Only grip products that do NOT contain resin, rosin, or any similar ingredients are allowed on our poles. These substances can damage the finish and affect everyone’s safety.

  • Water -or alcohol- based grip only.

  • No rosin, resin, or sticky residues of any kind. When in doubt, ask us before applying!

Heels Class:

  • Bring your fave dance heels! Make sure they’re secure and made for movement. No street shoes.

Boots Class:

  • Lace up those dancing boots — you’ll want something fierce and functional.

Dance or Cardio Fitness:

  • Wear breathable activewear and proper athletic footwear that supports your movement.

what not to do before class:

  • No lotion or body oils the day of class — they make gripping the pole slippery and unsafe. Moisturize the day or night before instead.

  • Do NOT wear jewelry to class:

    • That includes rings, watches, bracelets, necklaces, toe rings, anklets, and anything that could scratch our poles (or you).

    • Permanent jewelry must be covered or wrapped for safety.

  • Don’t bring guests – No spectators, friends, or plus-ones allowed.
CLASS IS JUST FOR ENROLLED STUDENTS.

  • Don’t be late – If you arrive more than 5 minutes after class starts, you will not be admitted and will forfeit your class. No refunds, no exceptions.

before your first visit:

All students must fill out a waiver and intake form before attending their first class.
No form = NO DANCING. Get it done ahead of time so you can focus on the fun stuff.

Class Cancellations & Studio Policies:

  • No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

  • Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 4 hours in advance of your scheduled class time to receive a class credit.

  • If you cancel less than 4 hours in advance or do not show up for your class,
you will forfeit your class and no credit will be issued.

  • Classes may be canceled due to weather, instructor illness, or low enrollment. If this happens, you’ll be notified at least 4 hours in advance and will receive class credit.

  • Some Like It Haute Studio reserves the right to cancel any class or remove students at our discretion.

late arrival policy:

  • Students who arrive more than 5 minutes late to class will not be permitted to join and will forfeit their class.
This policy is in place to protect your safety and to respect the flow of the class for everyone.

  • A missed class due to late arrival is considered a no-show and is not eligible for credit.

additional notes:

  • Credits issued are non-transferable and must be used within the valid timeframe of your original class pack or purchase.

  • By booking a class, you agree to comply with these policies.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
These guidelines help ensure a consistent and respectful experience for all.
